The Atlanta Science Festival returns to host family-friendly events throughout the metro Atlanta region. The festival specializes in the scientific and community-building development of young and old STEM lovers through interactive activities, workshops, and presentations. Events include Nature Play at Zoo Atlanta for families, a Rock N’ Walk for all-ages at Stone Mountain, and more.This expansive festival began in 2014 and grew to inspire crowds of more than 100,000 future and current scholars. Atlanta Science Festival works to service communities through collaborations with local schools, universities, museums, and businesses. AFS will finish at the Exploration Expo at Piedmont Park which includes experiments, exhibits, and live performances.
