The seventh-annual Brookhaven Beer and Wine Festival returns to Brookhaven Park Sat., June 9
Summer is the time for outdoor festivals, music, food, and shameless day drinking. The seventh-annual Brookhaven Beer and Wine Fest returns to Brookhaven Park, featuring more than 150 seasonal and flagship beers, along with a few wines and ciders. Soak up some of that liquid with grub from local restaurants and food trucks including Cole’s Backyard BBQ and Dominic’s NY Pizza. Bump to live music provided by homegrown artists DJ Zack Falls, alternative rock band Zale, and classic-rock cover band Velvet Runway. Tickets include unlimited beer and wine tastings in a souvenir cup, and proceeds benefit Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, a nonprofit charity dedicated to saving dogs and cats from high-kill shelters in north Georgia. Parking is available at the Brookhaven Marta station, but steer away from parking on neighborhood streets.
