Listening to Christina Latimore, better known as Nubia Soul Goddess, is like pouring a cold glass of pinot grigio and sliding on a brand new, red velvet dress. Prepare to have your mind excavated and filled with R&B, jazz, funk, and neo soul love letters as Latimore embarks on her mission to “give good music to the world again.”

Latimore’s upcoming album Changing Faces is filled with spunk and soulful vitality, produced in collaboration with her backing band, Phoenix, is her greatest forray into an alluring, jazzy dream world. This new musical family allows her to probe the subtleties of different musical genres and adds a rich foundation for her intoxicating vocals. - Holyn Thigpen
