NEW ATLANTA MUSIC: Lady Clementine's Fantastic Party
Dreamy pop song, ‘American Dream,’ out now
Atlanta's Lady Clementine's Fantastic Party is releasing their new song, “American Dream,” on all music streaming platforms today, May 30. The new single is a taste of what to expect from their upcoming album. The new song is the perfect way to kick off the summer and is sure to make you feel sexy and at your best. The visual to “American Dream” will stream tonight on the Big Ass Telethon, hosted by Wussy & SFQP, at 8 p.m. The visual showcases the "debutante dream pop” sound that Clementine cites to be the basis of LCFP's music.
Lady Clementine is using music to shed light on sex work and, specifically, her experience while dancing at The Cheetah Lounge. Atlanta's LCFP flourished last year with the release of their debut EP, Clementine's Season, followed by a series of music videos for the EP. LCFP received recognition for their music video “Clementine Season x East Coast” from the Macoproject film festival and the Atlanta Film Festival 2020.
The LCFP will soon announce new plans and new ways to connect with them.
The new single can be heard here and streamed on Apple Music, Spotify, and SoundCloud.
