Kirkwood Wine Stroll is presented annually by the Kirkwood Business Owners Association.

Event Description
The Kirkwood Wine Stroll is an annual event that occurs each September in the intown neighborhood of Kirkwood. The event is a wine and food tasting featuring booths from local businesses, live music and wine sampling spread across the downtown business district. The event has been going on since 2007 and is put on by the Kirkwood Business Owners’ Association as a fundraiser for the associaiton and for projects that beutify the business district as well as for scholarships, local school projects and neighborhood cleanups.

There are over 84 wines bringing together a wonderful selection of global wine samples with local food available for purchase and great local bands. Dining options include tapas type portions available for purchase from Urban Pie, Kirkyard Public House, Poppa Corns: Gourmet Popcorn, Artistic Soul Catering. Local craft beer selections from Second Self Beer Company. A diverse music line up of local bands will be performing on jazz, acoustic and electric stages: Elegant Bachelors, Cosmic Debris, PRINCE: A Celebration of the Genius, Bonaventure Quartet, Will Scruggs, The Bullfrogs, Brian Revels, and Vivian Slade. This a 21-year and older event. Photo ID is required.

The Wine Stroll is on Friday, September 21 7:00-10:00pm and located in Historic Kirkwood Proceeds from the Wine Stroll are used to enhance the downtown business district and help fund other Kirkwood non profit organizations and events. There are 43 participating locations, each pouring a sample of red and white wines. Great live music by amazing local bands performing on 3 stages - jazz, acoustic and electric stages. Dining options include tapas type portions of small plates available for purchase through amazing local food vendors like Urban Pie, Kirkyard Public House, Dish Dive, Sun in My Belly, Poppa Corns: Gourmet Popcorn, Poor Hendrix and My Coffee Shop. There will also be non-alcoholic beverages, local craft beer selections from Eventide Brewing and Second Self Beer Company. Ticket prices $40 in advance, $50 the week of the event/at the door. This a 21-year and older event. Photo ID is required.

The businesses in this historic Atlanta neighborhood open their doors and invite guests to sample wines from around the world while they enjoy the community experience of this popular area hot-spot. With each ticket purchased, guests receive a souvenir wine glass, program and live entertainment.
More than 40 participating locations will be pouring a sample of red and white wine and will offer light snacks. Additional dining options include small plates available for purchase and dine-in specials at Kirkwood restaurants. Other businesses will offer specials, discounts, prize drawings, demonstrations and music.
