College Park rapper Sergio Giavanni ‘Gunna’ Kitchens is being honored for his philanthropic projects in South Fulton, such as Gunna’s Drip Closet and the Goodr pop-up grocery store, both initiated by his Gunna Great Giveaway Foundation. Kitchens also assisted families in Houston after this year’s severe storms. South Fulton Mayor Bill Edwards declared Sept. 16 as “Gunna Day'' and acknowledged the artist “for setting a stellar example to the young people in our community.” complex.com
