NEWS BRIEF: Atlanta BeltLine Southside Trail to open
BeltLine ‘circle’ closer to being unbroken

The first segment of the BeltLine Southside trail will officially open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony next Tuesday, October 12. The Atlanta BeltLine Southside Trail Segment 1 is a 0.8-mile section of mainline, multi-use trail and the first to build on the Westside Trail. It is another step closer to connecting the Eastside and Westside Trails and completing the 22-mile loop. It connects four open and emerging job centers – Pittsburgh Yards, Murphy Crossing, the Met, and Lee + White.
