NEWS BRIEF: Emory to open interfaith center on campus in 2022
Emory more inclusive
A new interfaith center will open a year from now on the grounds of Emory University. The project has been under consideration since the early 2000s concurrent with an increase in religious diversity among students. “It’s a way to reflect what the community actually is at Emory,” Hindu Chaplain Brahmacharini Shweta Chaitanya said. “It’s a natural and long-awaited next step.” The center will host about 40 separate spiritual allegiances. emorywheel.com
