Atlanta contractor Matthew Jay Webler is the latest local resident to be arrested for participating in the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, making him the 17th Georgian charged in the ongoing investigation. Webler, 43, was apprehended in Decatur last month and faces multiple misdemeanor counts. Authorities claim he bragged about his role in the attack repeatedly on social media. ajc.com
