Songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and educator Elideusa Almeida has been appointed to lead the Atlanta chapter of Women in Music after the resignation of Hadley Poole. In a statement, Aleida said she welcomes the chance to enhance women’s opportunities in music and “to serve WIM and all women in the music industry of Atlanta in any way I can.” Aleida is the owner and artistic director of Music Mentors Atlanta, an academy and talent agency.
