NEWS BRIEF: City councilor Amir Farokhi to host town hall meeting at Dad’s Garage
Intown residents have a chance to be heard

Dad’s Garage has scheduled a town hall meeting with Amir Farokhi, the Atlanta city council representative for District 2 in which the improv theater is located. The district includes Old Fourth Ward (where Farokhi lives) as well as Downtown, Midtown, Inman Park, and Candler Park. Farokhi will discuss issues affecting residents and businesses of District 2 and will answer questions from the public. Pre-registration is recommended and requested for the free event, taking place on Thursday, March 31 at 5 p.m. A director at CARE in Atlanta, Farokhi has been repeatedly named among the “Most Influential Georgians” by Georgia Trend magazine. eventbrite.com
