NEWS BRIEF: Fulton County sexual wellness campaign has new partner
Check your stigma at the portal
The Fulton County Board of Health is partnering with a diagnostics company to provide free at-home HIV/STI testing via a virtual portal to residents who would otherwise have limited access.
Founded by “a largely queer team to address barriers to healthcare,” Ash Wellness says its goal is to “make sexual wellness testing and prevention services more accessible and inclusive for the Atlanta region.”
A June 14 press release stated, “Bringing testing, resources and results directly to people's homes helps reach and engage underserved communities who may not seek in-person care due to a number of determinants, including but not limited to finances, work schedules, transportation and stigma.” prnewswire.com
