NEWS BRIEF: Midtown’s 10th Street park gets a makeover

Construction is set to begin this month on enhancements to a park on the corner of 10th and Peachtree streets in Midtown Atlanta, funded by the local improvement district.
The park has hosted lawn games and holiday lighting installations for years, but is now being redesigned into separate spaces for games, a climbable structure and a fenced dog park, according to the Midtown Alliance. Additionally, a new mural will be painted by Jasmine Nicole Williams at the north end of the park. The upgrades follow the installation of the Conversation Peace sculpture by Kevin Box that was unveiled in November 2021. Details: midtownatl.com
