Could former-president Donald Trump and his lackeys face jail time in Georgia? Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis seemed hopeful when speaking to the The Washington Post, “The allegations are very serious. If indicted and convicted, people are facing prison sentences.”

The charges in question stem from Trump’s accused meddling in the 2020 presidential election, when Trump and his team encouraged Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find” enough votes to overturn his loss to President Joe Biden.

“A decision is going to have to be made, and I imagine it’s going to be made this fall,” said Willis on the possibility of a Trump testimony.

Other targets include Trump’s former lawyer Rudy Giuliani and 16 would-be Trump electors, all of who are denying wrong-doing. Trump, himself, has been critical of Willis, calling her a “young, ambitious, Radical Left Democrat … who is presiding over one of the most Crime Ridden and Corrupt places in the USA,” in a statement posted on social media.

“We are going to be done calling witnesses by the end of this year. Period,” said Willis, who has been outspoken on many recent Fulton County cases, including a racketeering charge brought up against Atlanta rapper Young Thug and YSL earlier this year.

Will Willis be able to build a strong enough case to send Trump and his team to jail? We’ll just have to wait and find out. washingtonpost.com
