NEWS BRIEF: Buckhead Saloon badly damaged in Monday morning fire

The Buckhead Saloon was the scene of an intense blaze on Monday morning that caused Roswell Road to be closed for a time. The Atlanta Fire Department estimates the fire started in the rear of the building and said there was a “tremendous amount of fire.” No injuries have been reported and the cause has yet to be determined.
This is the second eatery in Buckhead to catch fire in the past two weeks, after Tin Lizzy’s Cantina on Piedmont Road was ravaged by flames on Sep. 20. Details: walb.com
