RTJX: The anniversary tour.

Run the Jewels, the rap duo of Brooklyn’s EL-P and Atlanta’s Killer Mike, have announced RTJX, a series of anniversary shows being presented in four cities — Atlanta, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles — for Fall 2023, celebrating ten years of Run The Jewels.

Scheduled to coincide with the backend of the tenth anniversary of the release of the duo’s self-titled debut, the group will do four shows in each city, performing a different set each night spanning the band’s full discography (Word is, each night’s performance will feature one complete album plus other selections). Expect a number of special guests and some surprises, as well. It will be the first club shows in North America since RTJ released their album RTJ4 in 2020, and their first major performances since wrapping up their 2022 tour with Rage Against The Machine, which included five sold out nights at Madison Square Garden.

After a number of false starts, tickets will go on sale this week:

  • Wednesday, March 29 — a special fan pre-sale starts tomorrow. Sign-up here for early access to tickets
  • Friday, March 31, 10:00 a.m., EST (local Atlanta time) — tickets go on sale through regular channels (if any remain)

In addition to single night tickets, four night packages will be also be made available for the shows, currently scheduled for Monday-Thursday, October 2-5, at the Eastern. —CL—
