From Baptist News: a group of 187 United Methodist churches in the North Georgia Conference have filed a lawsuit against the conference in an attempt to restart the exit process from the denomination. The churches are in favor of leaving the denomination due to their disagreement with the denomination's stance on LGBT issues and other matters of theology. The lawsuit seeks to overturn a decision by the conference to not allow the churches to exit the denomination and to seek a legal separation from the conference.
