WildWoods at Fernbank Museum of Natural History extends the museum experience outdoors with elevated walkways, forest paths and interactive nature areas.

Visitors can move from the museum terrace into the treetops, walk through sculptural tree pods, explore family-friendly discovery areas and follow trails toward a creek, wetland meadow and the Isdell Wildlife Sanctuary. Along the way, trailside features such as a sensory wall, animal tracks and tree bark molds encourage closer observation of the natural world.

Open year-round, rain or shine, WildWoods is designed for all ages and fitness levels, with ADA-accessible trails and experiences. It offers an easy way to pair a museum visit with fresh air, art, native plants and wildlife.
