Southern Voices: To Grow – A Biennial Exhibition at Reeves House Visual Arts Center
A biennial exhibition highlighting contemporary artists from across the Southern United States.
Southern Voices: To Grow – A Biennial Exhibition at Reeves House Visual Arts Center showcases artists living and working across the Southern United States.
Selected through a rigorous review process based on the conceptual and formal strength of their work, the exhibition presents a broad snapshot of the region’s contemporary creative landscape. Artists working across a wide range of media—including video, sculpture, photography, ceramics, textiles, painting, and installation—are brought together in a dynamic, multidisciplinary presentation.
A key pillar of the Reeves House gallery program, Southern Voices provides participating artists with a platform that extends beyond exhibition, incorporating public programming and publication. The 2027 edition is themed around growth, reflecting both artistic development and broader cultural change across the region.
Following the juror’s selection of top submissions for awards, visitors are invited to participate by voting for a People’s Choice Award, reinforcing the exhibition’s connection to community engagement.
