ZOSO RISING (Led Zeppelin Tribute) / Cannibal Joe / Lars Nagel
From the venue:
ZOSO RISING (LED ZEPPELIN TRIBUTE)
ZOSO RISING featuring SHANE SMITH of SHANE’S WAR A true son of Georgia, Shane Smith has become a nationwide public figure with his ongoing work with animal shelters, known as Shane’s War. He travels the country visiting shelters holding adoption days and promoting awareness and support. His efforts have saved the lives of countless animals. With ZOSO RISING, he brings the Houses of Led Zeppelin alive with the megahits from the world’s greatest rock band. Singer Tim McGovern channels the kindred spirit of Robert Plant with the smoky blues roots vocals we all know by heart and echo with laughter. Rock bass Atlanta superstar, Steve McKinley, lets the JPJ low end flow with the Midas touch and A-lister, Brandon Faulkner, summons the Bonzo power, speed and groove for a copious serving of Moby D. Experience Led Zeppelin through ZOSO RISING.
CANNIBAL JOE
The power trio of Greg Damage, Mitch Slap and Dewey Vile serve up the southern rock like an early Black Crowes. As a side note, listen to Greg talk and you’ll swear it’s Sean Connery. Also, ask what Mitch keeps under his hat and check out Dewey’s guitars, which he makes himself.
LARS NAGEL
Guitarist of Atlanta rock machine, the El Caminos, unplugs his silver sparkle Gretsch Duo-Jet from his 100-watt Marshall stack and lets his solo acoustic flag fly with old school country originals that would make Hank Williams Sr. teary eyed in his PBR. Ask him real nice and he just might play Real Bad Boys. Word on the street is that JJ Camino himself may even show up for a duet.
