Smith's Olde Bar presents A Night Honoring the Life and Music of Chris Cornell, featuring a slew of bands resounding the acrimonious highs of '90s alternative rock via dirty guitars, power chords and fuzztones. The lineup includes local acts UltraDrive, James Hall & the Steady Wicked, A Slow Boat to China and Danny Grady of the post-grunge outfit Injected, along with tribute bands Siamese Dream, El Scorcho, Suck on Primus, Nameless Nameless and Stone Tribute Pilots. All proceeds benefit the MusiCares Foundation, an organization that provides emergency financial assistance and addiction recovery programs to struggling musicians.
