From the venue:

Heightened Senses highlights the universal accessibility of art by featuring visual art, music and performances that will communicate through all the senses. Deaf and hearing artists Alexis Borochoff Kennedy, Annie Rai, Amy Efron and Elizabeth Mayton present their visual pieces. The American Sign Language (ASL) poetry slam and storytelling opportunity, open to all, emphasizes movement and body language, adding depth to the poems. Natalie Jane Hill, Curt Castle and others perform live music not just to be heard, but also felt and the lyrics seen on screen. Interpreters will be present throughout the night to promote conversation and connection.
