From the venue:
Allan Eddy is an Atlanta-based blind artist. In 2000, Allan completely lost his sight overnight from Meningitis and doctors said he would never see again. However, Allan has gained a sliver of vision in one eye. This allowed him to begin painting beautiful abstract artwork again. Of Allan's many accomplishments, he has sold one of his paintings to Elton John, this piece is now displayed at the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art. Join us Thursday, September 29th at the new art gallery, Carre d'artistes Atlanta in Phipps Plaza, next to River Street Sweets, from 6 to 8pm to hear his incredible story.Carre d'artistes Atlanta presents: Talk with ... | 09/29/2016 6:00 PM
