The Muscular Dystrophy Association's 11th Annual Night of Hope Gala championing ALS Research welcomes approximately 600 patrons will come together to support the journey of those living with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Each year, corporate sponsors and individual donors assist in the major undertaking to bring awareness to this tragic illness and to fund various research initiatives, including a local clinic at Emory Healthcare. This year, the Night of Hope Gala Committee is pleased to honor Mr. Jeremy Schaap, who is an American sportswriter, television reporter, and author. A preeminent ESPN journalist, two-time Edward R Murrow Award winner, two time National Headliner Award winner, and eleven-time Emmy Award winner, Schaap reported on our nation's loss of Kevin Turner earlier this year.
