Dirndls and lederhosen are encouraged at this festival put on by Park Tavern, A Social Mess and Sierra Nevada. The beer-soaked event will feature a costume contest for people and pets. The best-dressed dog will receive a $300 gift certificate. Games like giant Jenga, cornhole, beer pong, beer keg toss and more pair nicely with the beer selection provided by Sierra Nevada. An eclectic lineup of live music and DJ performances will span the whole day, featuring the Wasted Potential Brass Band, DJ Nakd and many more. Proceeds go to the Piedmont Park Conservancy.
