Acclaimed filmmaker, writer and artist John Waters gives a tour of his art career and explains how he uses photography as a writing tool to create a whole new genre of clumsy “little movies” made up from the scraps of others. These kidnapped off the screen images refuse to be watched in a theater and instead must be hung on the wall to be seen for what they’ve hopefully become — tiny glimpses of failed cinematic perfection.
