Many forget that Oakland Cemetery is not only a resting place for thousands, including some Atlanta mayors, but a park as well. This 40th anniversary festival started out as a way for descendants of those buried in Oakland to pay their respects, but has branched out into a public day of live music, history, crafts, and remembrance.
