Cost: Free. Bring crochet and knit items that you are willing to include in this public art project, as well as supplies to aid in installation such as yarn, crochet hooks and knitting needles.
From the venue:
Crochet and knitting artists “spring into yarn” in this public art project transforming downtown Norcross into a land of yarn covered objects! Artists will affix flowers on fences, wrap benches, and make lampposts cozy. Trees near City Hall will also get attention. Public item within reason are to be covered in yarn by this group of fiber artists! This event’s sponsored by The Nest, Norcross Arts Alliance, HOME Norcross, and the City of Norcross, with promotional support from ArtWorks! Gwinnett.
