Enjoy live acoustic music along with sumptuous Italian cuisine. This month: The Apostles of Bluegrass and Kevin Spears. The Apostles of Bluegrass are led by Johnny Roquemore, dubbed “best local singer/songwriter” by Creative Loafing. They deliver original compositions and quirky renditions of cherished traditional tunes. Kevin Spears is an innovative master of the kalimba (African thumb piano). He has performed with other world-renown artists including Grammy-winning percussionist Count M’Butu. Presented by Atlanta Area Friends of Folk Music (AAFFM) and sponsored by Anthony’s Pizza and Pasta.
