The Atlanta Balalaika Society will present a concert of Russian and Gypsy folk music, song and dance featuring the internationally acclaimed Russian Gypsy ensemble, Via Romen, with seven-string guitarists Vadim Kolpakov and Oleg Timofeyev, violinist Arkadiy Gips and vocalist Eugenia Zolotariova. The Atlanta Balalaika Society will perform with domra virtuoso Angelina Galashenkova-Reed, bayan soloist Alla Melnik and balalaika soloist David C. Cooper, who is the orchestra’s director.
