Navid Kermani has studied Oriental Studies, Philosophy, and Theater in Cologne, Cairo, and Bonn and he has written a number of well-received titles on the relationship between the West and the Near East. The author’s first title in English, The Terror of God, will appear in September from Polity Books. Navid Kermani is currently working on his new novel, Dein Name, to be published this fall.
