The Personal is Still Political: Feminist Vent

Charis Books and More, the South’s oldest independent feminist bookstore, hosts a consciousness-raising discussion, The Personal is Still Political: Feminist Vent. People from all walks of life are encouraged to attend. Guests are invited to discuss personal problems or societal problems they are struggling with, and then the group will use intersectional feminist strategies to help each other talk through their issues. Additionally, group members will pass along and suggest readings, websites, and other resources to aide the small community. Stop by, vent, and get a few things off your chest.
