Alternative South Atlanta art space Notch 8 Gallery hosts the opening reception for solo show Contraption by Fabian Williams (aka Occasional Superstar) May 6. His work “Cop Vision #2” (pictured above) will be among the works on display. Williams says American cartoonist Rube Goldberg’s satire inspires each work included. The Fayetteville, North Carolina native received his BFA from East Carolina University in illustration, then spent 13 years in the advertising industry working for clients such as Warner Bros., Nike, and HBO. His new exhibition will feature film, paintings, and sculpture and will be on display through May 29. The opening reception will also include music from DJ SkyBison.
