Truth Booth seeks to gather the truth from passersby in two-minute recordings, with the ultimate goal of capturing the insight and vision of participants. Step inside, hear the prompt, and finish the statement: “The truth is …” Created by Cause Collective artists Ryan Alexiev, Jim Ricks, Will Sylvester, and Hank Willis Thomas, the Truth Booth has traveled the world gathering perspectives. As part of Elevate: Microcosm, the booth will represent Atlanta’s cultural vitality and uniqueness. When it’s all said and done, the two-minute recordings will be edited into a video compilation. People are encouraged to tell the truth, but can they handle it?
