Subsonics is an Atlanta institution. Since 1992, the avant-garde punk trio’s influence has permeated the city’s garage rock circuit. Unfortunately a combination of multiple hiatuses, crummy shows, and sparse releases have mired the group in obscurity. Despite the setbacks, the band maintains a live ferocity that has grown potent with age.
