Atlanta-based urban photographer Chip Simone will join Randy Gue, curator of Modern Political and Historical collections at Emory University’s Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library (MARBL), in the first of Atlanta Intersections, a new series of conversations with creative and dynamic Atlantans about the city’s past, present and future. Simone, who studied with modern American photography master Harry Callahan, has been photographing the streets and people of Atlanta since 1972, producing portraits of the New South as a multicultural urban metropolis. Located in the Jones Room, Level 3.
