Every year, Athleta plans a massive yoga event in Times Square for summer solstice. Atlantic Station is excited to announce that Central Park will host a similar, scaled-down version on June 21. Twice a year, the sun reaches the highest point in the sky in either the northern or southern hemisphere. On June 21, the northern hemisphere will see the summer solstice at noon, marking the first day of summer. Along with two yoga classes (9 a.m. and noon), Athleta will offer light refreshments, ZICO water and drawings with prizes to celebrate the summer solstice.
