Jortsfest ft. Muuy Biien, Antbrain, the Merry Go Rounds, and more

Come Sat., Sept. 6, the second annual summer Jortsfest returns to Georgia Tech, with a lineup boasting performances by Muuy Biien (pictured above), Antbrain, the Merry Go Rounds, and others. The Jortsfest mission is twofold: Celebrate the summer wardrobe essential after which the fest is named, and provide a bridge between Atlanta’s many different rock and pop music scenes (indie pop garage, punk, et al.). Is it all in vain? Apparently not. The Merry Go Rounds perform this year — the group was formed while its members hung out at last year’s fest and decided there was a niche to be filled in Atlanta’s music scene.
