Noted Irish actor Barry McGovern will give a performance of readings from the poetry and prose of Samuel Beckett. Regarded as one of the most influential writers of the twentieth century and best known for his play Waiting for Godot, Beckett was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1969. Actor Barry McGovern has had a long career in theater, film, television, and radio and is one of the leading exponents of the work of Samuel Beckett. His one-man Beckett shows have played worldwide.
