Sundowners & Supper

Atlanta based nonprofit Development in Gardening (DIG) will break out its signature cocktail, the African violet martini, for Sundowners & Supper, a benefit dinner emceed by Atlanta author and chef Virginia Willis. DIG has established gardens in nine countries throughout Africa and the Caribbean, and this African garden-themed dinner will bring a taste of those lands to the Beltline. The event promises raffles, auctions, a market, and food prepared by six Atlanta chefs. The homegrown talent includes celebrity chefs Duane Nutter and Marvin Woods, Eddie Hernandez of Taqueria del Sol, Russ Pysell of Yummy Street, Andy Gonzales of Steinbeck’s, and Ben Portman of Porkman’s Table.
