Local soul music heads familiar with the name DJ Spinna know full well that the acclaimed jock has hosted his Stevie Wonder tribute parties, dubbed Wonder-Full, in cities around the globe. But Spinna hasn’t ever hosted the shindig right here in Atlanta — until now. Coinciding with Wonder’s Songs in the Key of Life Tour, which just happens to land in town on the same night, Spinna will be, well, spinning a four-hour set of tunes written, produced, and performed by the Motown legend himself, along with a good blend of remixes, songs that Stevie penned for other artists, and much more at the Sound Table. Plus: Mr. Wonder has been known to regularly pop in at Spinna’s Wonder-Full parties. The stars are aligned, so act accordingly.
