Richmond Hill Historical Society Oyster Roast

This year’s gala, an oyster roast, will be held at the historic Henry Ford Oyster House and feature a new documentary, The Hidden History of Richmond Hill. Actors portraying historical figures such as Henry and Clara Ford, General James Oglethorpe, a Southern belle, a Civil War soldier and more will be joining the guests for a chat and photo opportunities. Special guest speakers include Emmy-nominated filmmaker Michael Jordan, and historian and author Buddy Sullivan. The musical duo Bucky and Barry will perform music under the live oaks on the banks of the Ogeechee River. DVD copies of The Hidden History of Richmond Hill will be available for purchase.
