The Battle of Atlanta, fought on July 22, 1864, was a turning point in the War Between the States. Paved over by interstates, neighborhoods, and other developments, the battlefield no longer exists. Fortunately, historical markers and a few monuments mark where thousands of Union and Confederate soldiers fought and died. On the Battle of Atlanta Pub Tour, participants will travel along some of the same routes that existed during the battle and stop at some of Atlanta’s well-known pubs along the way.
