The Marcus Roberts Trio

Grammy-winner Marcus Roberts will grace the stage at The Velvet Note Acoustic Living Room with his comrades bassist, Rodney Jordan and drummer, Jason Marsalis for 11/29 & 30. Roberts then performs as a soloist on a 12/1! The performances will also feature a debut from the trio’s “From Rags to Rhythm” CD, released this month! This will be a rare up-close-and-personal experience with the greatest living jazz pianist of today and his award-winning trio in this exclusive, 40-seat venue. The December 1st show will feature Mr. Roberts in a solo performance and an even more intimate exchange with audience members.
