Kasey Chambers, Carly Burruss

One of Australia’s finest, Chambers has had an interesting and productive career. As a child, she was part of her family’s Dead Ringer Band and was exposed to a multiplicity of musical styles. What stuck was the essence of the songs, stories, and words combined with emotive melodies. Her solo and duet material over the past decade has been widely respected, and now a bit older and wiser, she continues to move forward. — James Kelly
