MIXTAPE Dance Festival

Zoetic Dance Ensemble presents, MIXTAPE, this summer at Southwest Arts Center in Atlanta, GA. The festival features dance works by 15 different choreographers from across the US, whose work explores issues surrounding gender expectations and societal injustices against women and LGBTQ+. Presenting artists include The Lovelies (NY), and Depth Dance (CA) as well as local Atlanta choreographers Corian Ellisor, Porter Grubbs, Jon Carr, Cherrise Wakeham and more. MIXTAPE provides a platform for not only female artists, but also LGBTQ+ choreographers and dancers to present their dance works inspired by inclusivity and gender identity.
