DIFFERENT TRAINS GALLERY (432 East Howard Avenue no. 24) is proud to present a one-woman show by Atlanta-based artist Luzene Hill. “Now that the Gates of Hell are Closed…” is an exhibition of new drawings that “challenge male dictated hierarchies” and “advance female agency”. Opening night is November 8 from 5-8 PM and the show continues through December 20. An artist talk will be announced. Hill is a multi-media artist, best known for her socially-engaged, conceptual installations, reflecting interdisciplinary scholarship in visual art, women’s studies and Native American culture. An enrolled member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, Hill has exhibited throughout the US, in Canada, Russia, Japan and the UK.
