Sun Not Yellow combusts with lyrically driven energy and introspection. Their sound has been described as a wave of warm molasses, but maybe come up with your own synesthetic description, because this one’s already taken by the music podcast ‘Pizza My Heart’ when they reviewed Sun Not Yellow’s 2019 EP ‘Howard, Ohio’.
This trio flaunts a breadth of influences among their danceable anthems and intricate melodic delivery. Alternative/Indie rock isn’t enough to explain what’s happening here; there’s really no better way to explain it than by experiencing them live. Come hang!
