From the venue:

Voter suppression, partisan gerrymandering, closed polling locations, I.D. laws, and restrictions for voting by mail have disenfranchised voters for years, with more restrictions piling up from local jurisdictions to the Federal Government.

The COVID-19 pandemic has created further hurdles for voters as we approach the general election in November. The recent countrywide protests in response to systemic racism shine a light on the importance of an accessible and fair vote.

As part of the Campaign for Equal Dignity, The Center welcomes Fair Fight for a conversation about the current issues voters face and how to ensure the right to vote is extended to all people. Moderated by Mo Ivory
