Black is Beautiful Release

Join us at our Logan Circle taproom on Friday (7/10) at 5pm as we celebrate our newest beer: Black is Beautiful. All proceeds benefit the New Georgia Project.

Spearheaded by Weathered Souls Brewing Co., the Black is Beautiful project invites breweries to use their base stout beer recipe and add their own twist or ideas. We are asked to donate 100% of the beer’s proceeds to local foundations and organizations that are committed to the long-term work of equality. The mission of this initiative is to bridge the gap and provide a platform to show that the brewing community is an inclusive place for everyone.

Our version is brewed with dark chocolate malt and oats. This 10% ABV imperial stout is thick and roasty with notes of coffee and cacao. It pairs perfectly with a blackened ribeye or a dense, salty cheese (like Stilton). Pour it in a snifter glass to catch all of the aroma and eye-catching creamy brown head.

Can't make it Friday? No worries. We'll have it on tap and in cans throughout the weekend.

ABOUT THE NEW GEORGIA PROJECT:
The New Georgia Project is a nonpartisan effort to register and civically engage Georgians. Over the past decade, the population of Georgia increased 18%, and the New American Majority (people of color, those 18 to 29 years of age, and unmarried women is a significant part of that growth. The New American Majority makes up 62% of the voting-age population in Georgia, but only make up 53% of registered voters.
